Dr. Hayman is currently Vice-President of Research and Development at ChipCare, developers of a point-of-care platform that will bring lifesaving diagnostics to millions without access, specializes in biosensors and optical detection systems. He has in-depth expertise in assay development, analytical device development, biosafety and regulations. Dr. Hayman received a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Dr. David Walt lab at Tufts University in Boston.
Dr. Boudreau is full professor in the Department of Chemistry at Université Laval in Québec City, Canada, and a member of the Center for Optics, Photonics and Lasers (COPL). He has close to 30 years of experience in the development of instrumentation and optical materials for trace chemical analysis.
Mr. Chan has 18 years of industry experience electronics industry experience in medical devices and telecommunications. Specialized in RF/precision analog/EMI&EMC design, Mr Chan worked on more than a dozen cell phone designs and many patents at RIM headquarter in Waterloo. He now bring his many years of experience with large international business and innovative mindset to help startups accelerate product development and commercialization.
Expert on biodetection and protein engineering integrating protein structure determination, Dr. Pelletier is co-director of PROTEO and professor of Chemistry and adjunct professor of Biochemistry at UdeM.
Expert on surface plasmon resonance technologies, instrumentation and analytical chemistry, Dr. Masson is a full professor of Chemistry at the Université de Montréal (Canada). Dr. Masson has been named on The Top 40 Under 40 Power List by the Analytical Scientist.
Mr. Atkin is CEO of Gladius Pharmaceuticals, a biotechnology firm developing novel drugs to treat life-threatening, multi-drug-resistant bacterial infections. He has many years of experience in advancing early stage life sciences products and technologies towards commercialization. Mir. Atkin helped life sciences startups raise over $30 million in funding.
Mr. Masson is Director Software Research & Development for AV&R. In addition to his deep knowledge in machine vision and robotics, Mr Masson works with international clients to focus technological development according to clients’ needs.
